Chevrolet Repair: S10 Blazer, s10 blazer, convenience center

Question
My daughter has a blazer that the headlight quit working but the day time running lights work ,is there a fuse or relay to check or my the switch were is the best place to start.

Answer
Hi John,
You didn't happen to mention what year it is, so I went and pulled up a wiring diagram from a 90 model, with DRL's.
Seems the DRL relay, operated by the DRL module, changes the ground circuit of the headlights during DRL operation, and in your case, the relay is stuck, or the module is keeping it energized.
I would locate that DRL relay, which should be in the convenience center, probably under the hood, and swap it with a relay with the same part number, like the blower relay, and see if that lets the lights work. Then if it does, just get another relay.

Here is a link that will take you to the wiring diagrams.
