Chevrolet Repair: Help with 1992 G-20 Chevy Conversion van, chevy conversion van, turn signal switch

Have a Chevy G-20 conversion van with 350 engine. The problem is with the brake lights.  Tail lights and turn signals are working but brake light is not. Have had the brake switch and fuse replaced but still not working. How can we run down this problem?

Hello Katy,
First make sure power is getting to, and through the stop switch.
If the stop ;ights and turn signals use the same bulb, then the turn signal switch may be the problem.
If you have an amber section of rear lense, they may use different bulbs than the signals, so check the light socket to see if power is getting there. Use a test light, connected to a good ground.
