Chevrolet Repair: removing window crank, 1996 isuzu hombre, isuzu hombre

Question
Have a 1996 Isuzu Hombre (should be same as an S 10 )Need to remove inside door panel to install a new mirror . Only thing holding it back is manual window crank . Does this pull straight off or does it unscrew while holding the shaft ? Don't want to create a worse problem by breaking the crank

Push back on the cloth panel around the window crank and you will see a "C" clip, LOOK CLOSE, Simply take a small hook and pull the "C" clip off the shaft. BE CAREFUL as the clip has a tendency to fly when removed.

To re-install the handle, put the "C" clip on the handle  FIRST then push the handle on the shaft.
