I have a 1991 s10 blazer that has been giving me alot of problems. The biggest isue is that the oil is thinning out. I'll do an oil change and within 2 weeks its 2 quarts or so over full, smells like gas.
I have done this 3 times in the past 2 months. Ive tried cheap oil and expensive oil it still does it. I just want it to stop.

Hello Brent, I'm sure on what type of fuel injection you have on this engine. Is it CPI or TBI ? If it is CPI you need a new CPI injector. They leak into the intake and then it goes into the oil. When you start the engine it will run very rough for a while too. Let me know

Answer
Hi Brent, I thought it was a CPI injector. This is not bad to change. To make sure it is the problem you can remove the #4 spark plug after you start the engine and run it for about 10-15 seconds. If there is a lot fuel on the plug then the injector is leaking. I know this is the problem, I would just go and buy a new injector and remove the top of the intake manifold. You have to remove like 10..10mm head nuts and bolts. The injector is now right there, remove the fuel lines and then the injector. This job should take you no more then 3 hours and thats giving you a lot of time.
