Chevrolet Repair: Clicking Noise, chevy lumina, road test

Hi Mark,
I have a 1997 Chevy Lumina.  I have a problem where everytime I step on the brakes a cicking noise can be heard.  At the same time the lights in my car flicker on and off.  I have had my brakes repaired but the problem still exists.  The technician said it is not my brakes.  What can it be?

Hi Donna, This is one of those problems where I would need to drive the car to give you a answer. There isn't anything that comes to mind on this problem. I think maybe you should have someone else look at it for you, maybe just a road test and they could tell you more.
