Chrysler Repair: 01 town and country: ac/heater imbalance, imbalance problem, led lights


Question
problem with ac, rear units blow cold, passenger side is somewhat cool and driver side is cool/warm. unit seems to blow cooler when car is a shaded area also.

Hi Brad,
The first thing to do is calibrate the system: turn the ignition switch to the 'on' position.
Simultaneously press and hold the 'power' and the 'recirculation' buttons for at least 5 seconds. Then release the buttons and you will notice a couple of the other LED lights start flashing which shows that the calibration has begun and they will continue to flash until it finishes. If the flashing continues beyond 3 minutes in length then there is a fault of some sort that can only be determined by reading out the control panel with a Chrysler Diagnostic Readout Box at a dealership. If the diagnostic ends without further flashing then try out the system to see whether it is improved.
