Chrysler Repair: 1998 intrepid: ABS warning lights on, 4 digit numbers, manual roland

Question
hello, I changed the power steering pressure hose and the harmonic balancer an my intrepid and immediatelly after doing this my anti lock brakes and my traction control stopped working. both lights are lit up on the dash. any ideas would be appreciated.

Answer
Hi Alex,
I don't find a relationship between the work you did and the warning lights for the ABS system.
My suggestion would be to get a fault code readout using the socket that is under the dash to the left of the steering column, just above the hood release lever. You can get it for free at most Autozone parts stores, or perhaps another national chain or for less than $40 at an independent garage. The codes are 4-digit numbers, preceded by a P. Ask for the specific numbers, what they mean, and what is the repair. Then write back and we can compare what you were told with the Chrysler ABS manual.
