Chrysler Repair: 97 caravan: heater/AC lights blinking, grand caravan, set mode

Question
Have a 97 Grand Caravan. Needed to clean the battery terminals - after reinstallation I am now getting blinking lights on the heater, rear wiper, AC panel. I followed instructions on how to calibrate this but am getting different results. I initiated the test and was getting aternating lights on the rear wiper and intermittent switches indicating the test was in progress. I did not get the alternating AC and recirc lights however which is supposed to indicate a cooldwown test. I did get a blinking rear wiper light that was supposed to indicate the test is complete and acceptable. When I pushed the rear wiper button to exit I then get both the AC and recirc lights flashing together. Any further suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks

Answer
Hi Bill,
What is the indication when the vehicle is "off",
what is the indication when you turn the ignition to "run",
what is the indication when you have been driving it for 15 or more minutes?
Is this a consistent pattern at this time?
Clearly the battery disconnect caused a false alarm of some sort, so you need to get it back to status quo ante.
Before the battery was disconnected was there any flashing an any time?
Once you have status quo ante I would reinitiate the calibration and cooldown test:
Set blower on HIGH
Set mode to PANEL
Open all A/C outlets
Set temperature to cold (both if so equipped)
Depress Wash and Rear Wiper and hold for 5 seconds until all lights light

Let me know the results and the answers to my questions, then we'll go from there to resolve this problem.
