Chrysler Repair: 06 Sebring: stalling for no reason, chrysler sebring, 2006 chrysler sebring


Question
2006 chrysler sebring stall and sometimes dies. added a fuel treament and nothing changed it usually stall at around 25 to 30 miles per hour. thinking it might be the fuel pump but the car runs great besides the stalls every so often. it has 72000 miles and it make very good gas mileage. no check engine light and no codes are showing up. please advise.

Hi Marcus,
Check fuses 4,11,14,17 in the fuse box behind the left end cap of the dash. Those should show voltage to be present when the ignition is in the 'run' position. Check for voltnge when the engine has just stalled but you haven't touched the ignition switch so as to test if one of the four sections in the switch has 'opened' on its own.
