Chrysler Repair: 2004 Sebring Convertible: front end vibration, constant velocity joints, front end vibration

Question
My Sebring has a vibration in the front end.
I've had it checked and nothing seems to be loose or worn.
The rear ball joints had a little play, so they were replaced. Started out between 50-60 MPH, it's now doing it between 40-60 MPH. New tires, wheels and road force balanced.
The mechanics are at a loss and I'm getting quite upset ! I love my car too much to let it go.
Thanks for your help.
Kelly

Answer
Hi Kelly,
The other rotating parts are the half-axles and their two constant velocity joints, one at each end, and the wheel hubs.
Has anyone checked the grease boots on the 4 joints to see whether one of them might have leaked its grease such that the joint is not worn and out of balance? Do you hear any clicking sounds which would be another clue, or sounds when turning and not when going straight. Those would be tell-tale for such a joint being the cause.
A low pitched roaring sound, also variable between turning vs. straight ahead, could be from a worn out wheel bearing which is also rotating as part of the wheel hub.
I assume the struts have been checked for loss of damping power? Other than those and the usual bushings of the front suspension's moving parts that might be inspected, I can't suggest anything else.
