Chrysler Repair: 95 lebaron no start, no check engine light, chrysler lebaron, check fuse

Question
I have a 1995 Chrysler Lebaron that just quit running. It is not getting spark and also the check engine light will not come on with the key to check codes. I swapped bulbs and verified it is not the bulb. I am thinking it is the computer behind the battery, can you help me verify this?

Answer
Hi Mike,
The check engine light is actuated by a signal from pin 32 of the computer to pin 11 of the red plug on the cluster (black/pink wire). Otherwise if that is OK (but be sure to check the circuit board solder joint for pin 11 of the socket), the computer also needs a 12v supply from the ignition switch so check fuse 14, 15 or 16 under the dash which should show 12v in the 'run' and the 'start' position to verify that the computer is being powered at its pin 9. Pins 11 and 12 of the computer need to show grounded to complete the power to the computer. If all that checks, then the computer itself is suspect.
