Chrysler Repair: all windows quit working on 01 Sebring Convertible, chrysler sebring convertible, chrysler sebring

With no warning, all four windows on my girlfriend's 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible stopped working. The top still goes up and down. Local dealer said it's either the door switch (ruled out since both door switches don't work) or the body control module. The body control module was quoted at $495 plus labor and programming. Could there be any other cause before we resort to this expensive repair?

well who ever told U that the BCM would cause this is wrong, The bcm has nothing to do with the windows. What made u rule out the switch?
The master switch provides power to all the windows. Remove the panel and make sure the power and grounds are there  if if they are  replace the switch.
