Chrysler Repair: 1996 lhs overheating brakes draging, timing belt, lhs

Question
thks  my 1996 lhs was overheating replaced water pump timing belt and tension  still overheating and brakes seem to be dragging (noise) although new brakes

Answer
Hi Cornelius,
Dragging brakes can certainly cause overheating of the engine. After driving on the highway without significant use of the brakes pull over and carefully touch wheels (all 4) to check if they are hot. Then investigate the master/power unit if all are hot, or individual wheels if only some of the wheels are hot.
