Chrysler Repair: 98 CIRRUS MIRRORS: Are they heated?, rear window defroster, power mirror

Need to replace the mirror but all I can find is heated. I don't believe the mirrors are heated in my daughter's car and don't want to purchase one if it won't plug in with the old one.

Remove the old mirror and check the wiring plug/bring it with you when you look for the replacement. The heated mirrors are only available originally if the rear window defroster and the power mirror option is purchased. But I don't know if you could have power mirror without heaters; I suspect not, particularly if the dealer parts counter says not.  I don't show separate plugs to be offered for heated vs. non-heated power mirrors so I suspect that you have  heated mirrors. If you run rear defogger switch for a while I believe you can feel the driver and passenger side mirror to see if they are warm or not, and that will give you the answer you are looking for.
