Chrysler Repair: idle air control motor circuit and installation, chrysler new yorker, throttle plate

Question
1994 chrysler new yorker. I replace the Idle air control motor
because of a trouble code 21. before if bought the new one,I took it out to see if there was movement of the shaft. I also
checked the harness plug  for voltage . there was 13.2 volts.
I am still getting erratic idle and trouble code 21.any ideas
what the problem could be?

Answer
Hi Gary,
I would check the 4 wires from the control's plug to the plug for the pcm; and also did you clean the by-pass passageway that the control pintle regulates, the throat of the throttle body, and both sides of the throttle plate?
The gray/red goes to pin 39, the yellow black goes to 60, the brown/white to 40, and violet/black wire to pin 59. Check also with plugs removed from both sockets that each of the wires is not grounded and also not shorted to any of the other three wires. If you do all that you should get good idle control.
