Chrysler Repair: Chrysler LHS 9: no radio, wipers, turn signals, chrysler lhs, ground circuits

Question
The speedometer, radio, heat and A/C, signal lights, auto head lamps and wipers no longer works in my car. I am told that the computer which connects the ground circuits that control those components must be changed. My question is, where could i purchase this computer and what is the actual name for this computer that is needed to fix this problem? Also, could a computer from another 95 LHS, say from a savage yard, be reprogrammed and used in my LHS? I need help with this, this has been an ongoing problem for me for the last six months or more. With summer approaching and Texas heat, A/C is extremely essential. Thanks for your response!

Answer
Hi Shilita,
I don't think this is the body computer at all. The radio, turn signals, and wipers all requires the proper function of one section of the ignition switch (A31) and so I suspect that section is bad.
The speedometer could be due to the output sensor on the transmission being bad. Please explain what you mean by "auto head lamps" and I'll try to figure out what are the possible causes of that. And what aspect of the heater/AC doesn't work: do you have the digital readout control or a conventional readout control and can you tell me if any of the system works and if so which parts?
I would begin with checking out whether there is power getting to fuses 2, 3, and 10 in the fuse box behind the dash (remove the end cap at the left end of the dash to get to the fuse box) and if there is no voltage to them on either side of the fuses then you have a bad ignition switch. We'll work on the rest of the circuits.

I just saw your question in the 'pool' to which it had been referred after 'shopteacher' dropped out of the service, apparently.
