Chrysler Repair: Neon 06 SE automatic:repeated loss of speedo, output speed, speed sensor

4 weeks back the speedometer stopped working. Plus the
yellow light came on (steady). My local garage could not
trace the problem and fitted new sensors.  The speedo
worked and the light went out. However earlier this week
the speedo stopped and the yellow light appeared.Next move?

Hi John,
I would go back to the local garage and request that they correct the problem at no cost. It could be a disconnected plug at the output speed sensor or a defective replacement sensor or perhaps a flaky wire connecting the sensor to the powertrain computer but in any case the repair was not successful so they should be asked to stand behind their work at no cost to you.
