Chrysler Repair: front door panel, chrysler town and country, door switch

How do you remove the door panel on a 2006 chrysler town and country

Answer
To remove the door panel,
1. Remove the plug at the bottom of the cup in the armrest and remove screw attaching door pull cup to inner door panel.
2. Remove the switch bezel and disconnect elect. plug at switch.
3. Remove screws attaching trim panel to door along the bottom, below map pocket.
4. If equipped, remove window crank.
5. Remove screw holding door trim to door panel behind inside release handle .
6. Grab the edge of the door panel and pulling outward, disengage clips attaching door trim to door frame along the bottom and 2 sides.
7. Lift trim panel upward to disengage the flange from the molding at the base of the window.
8. gently pull the panel back from door to get to the handle linkage.
9. Disengage clip attaching linkage rod to inside handle  
10. Separate linkage rod from latch handle.
11. Disconnect the power door switch, courtesy lamp electrical connectors.
12. Remove front door trim panel from vehicle
