Chrysler Repair: Chrysler LHS 99 Blower motor r&r, motor bearings, chrysler lhs

Question
My blower motor is making a loud squeaking noise so i decided to change he blower motor... The only problem is i can not seem to find exactly where it is and how to replace it? Please Help

Answer
Hi Andrew,
It is located at the right end of the underdash unit, on the bottom side.
Disconnect the battery
Remove the right side underpanel/silencer duct at lower edge of dash
Remove the blower motor plug from the nearby resistor block (look for twisted pair of wires)
Squeeze the wire's grommet on the wires and push grommet through housing cover
Remove blower motor housing cover.
Remove blower motor retaining screws
Lower motor and fan from housing.
You might try to lubricate the motor bearings to see if that would fix it for awhile.
Install is the reverse of above.
