Answer
Hi Frank,
Do you hear the fuel pump run for about a second when you turn the key to the 'run' position? If not, then you have an issue with the ASD/pcm interconnection or power to the ASD. If you do, but you don't get spark then it could be one of the rotational sensors on the cam or crank. But the most efficient way to sort this out is with a fault code readout. You could try the ignition key to see if anything shows up on the odometer window when you turn the key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. If you don't get it that way, then a fault code readout with an OBD-II reader plugged in to the socket under the dash by the steering column would be the other way to get the codes. Let me know what you learn and we'll go from there. Is there anything else with the electricals that still doesn't work, other than spark? How about the anti-theft system, if the car has that?
