Chrysler Repair: 95 Acclaim front end suspension noise, alignment shop, noise question

Question
QUESTION: Front end clunking nosie when driving on rough roads.Seems to come  from the passager side. Thank you.

ANSWER: Hi Dan,
The possibilities are 3-fold: the bushings on the control arms of the suspension could be worn, the attacments/bushings on the sway bar could be worn, or the upper mount of the strut could be worn. With a helper pushing down and lifting up on the fender or front bumper fascia you may be able it locate which of these is the cause by listening and looking at these parts of the suspension on the right side. Otherwise, an alignment shop will be able to identify the source.
The control arm attaches the lower end of the steering knuckle to the chassis, the sway bar spans the width of the suspension at the front and is attached to the outer end of each control arm, and has bushings there and to the chassis on no both sides of the msin crossmember of that, and the mounts are directly underneath the top of the strut tower in the rear corner of the engine compartment.

QUESTION: Is there danger of a front wheel detaching , or coming off the car.

Answer
Hi Dan,
That would be very unlikely under usual driving circumstanses for the noise possibilities that I described for the noise that you described. Before that would happen you would probably notice the car would not steer straight or would pull to one side severely.
