Chrysler Repair: Car shaking w/ engine light flashing, independent garage, engine computer

Hello, My car has been shaking when i break and when i drive slow. Once i accelerate past 30 or so, its fine. Also when its in a complete stop or park, i notice the smoke coming out of the muffler/exhaust is also making like puffs, liek something might be clogged. The engine light also blinks off and on.. sometimes it just stays on. What can you tell me about my car? Desperate for help please... Thank you!

What color is the smoke that comes out the tailpipe? If it is white smoke and it has an odor of antifreeze then that would indicate a headgasket leak. You might want to get a fault code readout of the engine computer which can be done for free at most Autozone parts stores, or for $40 at an independent garage. Let me know about the smoke and tell me any 4-digit fault codes you get. Also, I have to know the year, make and model, and size of engine to be of much specific help.
