Chrysler Repair: 00 41TE Etax transmission leaking, inch pounds, transmission pan

I would like to know the best sealant or gasket for the transmission pan. I seam to have a problem getting it to seal and stay sealed. Is there a recommended torque for the pan bolts, because that may be my problem tightening to tight. Thank you, in advance.

Can you give me a year, engine, model, and whether this is an electronic 4-speed automatic or an older style 3-speed automatic transmission?

2000 t/c 3.3v6 with a 4 speed auto

Hi Marty,
The manual show a 1/8" bead of RTV as the recommended sealant, and also to put the same sealant under each of the bolt heads. Torque the bolts to 45 inch-pounds. I hope this will help you get this leak sealed.
