Motorcycle Repair: push rod covers, push rod, pushrods

QUESTION: I noticed that one of my p.r.covers middle sleeve easily turned.Does this have any effect on the adjustments of the p.rods or are those just for looks and have no concern on the adjustment???? Sorry to waste your time on what may be a very silly question but I need to know it's driving me nuts!!! THANX!

ANSWER: It has nothing to do with the adjustment. It just covers the pushrods and keeps the oil in

Answer
The only thing that I think synthetic does for you is make the bike run cooler. Alot of the fight about using standard compared to synthetic is mostly personnel preference. I still run regular oil in my bikes due to the cost of synthetic.
