Chrysler Repair: 01 T&C LXi - Heater Not Working, blower motor resistor, check fuse

Question
Dash would "whine" when starting the motor...now, heater does not kick on at all.

Answer
Hi Matt,
By 'heater does not kick on' do you mean no blower?   If so, check  fuse 21 (40 amp) in the box under the hood. If that is ok, then check the blower motor itself by unplugging it (underside right end of distribution box under the dash) and jump 12V (+ and a ground) to its plug. If it works then the blower motor resistor block (remove glove box, you will find it on the fire wall, just follow the wires) needs to be replaced. If blower doesn't work when jumped then you need a new blower motor.
