Question
QUESTION: Hi Roland:  I am trying to de-install an alarm system on my LeBaron.  I have two fusable links under the dash board that were plugged into the front of the fuse block.  One is orange the other is red.  Could you tell me in which rear location on the fuse block is the correct location for these wires?  Thanks.  Tim G  Edwardsville, IL.

ANSWER: Hi Tim,
I assume that you are dealing with a LeBaron sedan, otherwise let me know. The coupe/convert don't have fusible links.
I don't locate fusible links to be under the dash at the fues box. Are you certain these are links rather than wires?
On the alarm system: is this a factory installed unit? If so, it can be disconnected by simply pulling the plug on the module WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING.

QUESTION: Roland:  This is a convertible and is the GTC model with lots of options.  The alarm system was not factory installed and is a pure nightmare.  There are definitely two fusible links-one red wire and one orange;  that were jammed into two 20 amp slots in the front of the fuse block.  I guess they could just be wires with fuses to protect the unprofessional installation; but I do not see anywhere where they were cut in to an existing wire or wire harness bundle.  I may isolate them during the first attempt to start the car (hopefully) and see what does or does not work.  Thanks.  Tim G  Edwardsville, IL

Answer
Yes,
I suspect they are added on to the box. I don't know that this alarm can be disarmed like you can the factory model. It communicates with the ecm and that is why the engine has to be running when you pull its plug or it will lock down the engine "hard".
