QUESTION: Could you please explain to me, what a leak detect pump pressure switch is. Also its location. My car is a 1999 Chrysler Sebring JXI 2.5L v-6. This is the only code that came up. Thanks for your help, Joe

ANSWER: it's a pump that holds and applies pressure to the gas tank and other systems to see if there is a leak.The switch is just the electrical part to see if it is closed or not  for diog.

LEAK DETECTION PUMP
REMOVAL
Release fuel pressure, Refer to Fuel System Pressure Release Procedure in the Fuel Delivery section.
Disconnect battery cable Battery Cable
Raise vehicle and support
Drain fuel tank, refer to Draining Fuel Tank in the Fuel Delivery section Fuel Tank Drain
Loosen and remove fuel filler tube from fuel tank Fuel Filler Tube
Disconnect fuel line Fuel Line
Position transmission jack under fuel tank assembly.
Remove fuel tank straps bolts. Passenger side first.
Lower fuel tank and remove the purge line and vent line Evap Components
Remove hoses from EVAP canister.
Disconnect electrical connector for Leak Detection Pump (LDP)
Remove push pin from bracket for EVAP canister LDP and EVAP Canister
Remove bracket and Leak Dectection Pump.
Remove LDP from bracket.
INSTALLATION
Install LDP onto bracket.
Install bracket and LDP onto fuel tank assebly.
Install EVAP canister to bracket install push pin.
Install hoses and lines.
Raise the fuel tank on the transmission stand.
Connect the purge and vent lines.
Connect LDP and fuel pump electrical connector.
Raise tank into position and install tank straps.
Install the fuel filler tube and tighten the clamp.
Lower vehicle.
Connect the battery cable.
Fill fuel tank. Use the DRB scan tool to pressurize the fuel system. Check for leaks
