Chrysler Repair: timing belt install: 3.5L V-6 99, compression stroke, postal mail

Question
99 chrysler 3.5 l 6cyd, need to set timing belt

Answer
Hi Kelly,
The procedure involves a couple of special tools and also a multi-step process to install the timing belt. This site only allows posting of text, no drawings or photos. So I would need to xerox copy and postal mail you the 2+ pages from my '99 shop manual that tells and shows the process. You can use the "thank and rate" tab below where there is a space for "comments" for you to list your postal mailing address. I don't believe it can be described with words, you also need the drawings.
Do you already have it apart? and did you leave it a TDC of the compression stroke of cyl. #1? Or do you believe that the timing has slipped? Or are you just thinking about replacing the timing belt but haven't started on the job yet? It would be helpful to know that so I know what pages you need. I guess that you don't have a manual of any sort?
I would be pleased to send you up to 4 pages for free, but beyond that I would ask you to send me back some postage stamps to cover my costs which are 10 cents per side and the necessary postage. You can send me the reimbursement after you get the pages.
