Chrysler Repair: atf stop leak for neon 2002, neon 2002, symmetrical pattern

Question
i found my auto trans drips a red oil, after i check it i found my auto trans level is low , so bought the atf+4 but how i m able to stop the leak? should i flush or drain and change the gasket? can i just put the anti leak in? if i can, what brand should i put?

Answer
I would wipe off the trans and then drive it for a bit and see if you can tell where the leak appears to be occuring. I would not use any stop leak so as to not possibly damage the unit. Try to find the leak and then let me know where it appears to be. If it is around one of the pans, then tighten the bolts, but don't overdue so as to avoid breaking off the bolt heads. Just evenly and gradually in a symmetrical pattern.
