Chrysler Repair: 1995 cirrus 2.5L v6: running too rich, injector pulse, accurate count

Question
when I try to start the car the spark plugs foul out my scanner tells me that the injector pulse width is 50.3ms I know that is way to much can you help me? thanks Michael

Answer
Hi Michael,
If your scanner doesn't tell you fault codes, then you can get them using the ignition key:"on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less elapsed time. Then watch the check engine light that remains "on" to begin to flash, pause, flash, etc.  Count the number of flashes before each pause, then repeat to assure an accurate count. Then group the counts in pairs in order of appearance to form the two-digit fault codes. The last code is always 55 which means end of readout.
The pulse width issue is no doubt a sensor problem and the fault code readout is the way to go. Go to www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html for a translation or write me back telling me the codes and we can take it from there.
