Question
hi roland .

i have a le baron 89 turbo gtc , its only running on 2 cylinder , been driven for a long time and cooler exploded ,
i shifted the head cylinder , the camshaftbelt is in proper place, and the wiring for the sparkplugs is in proper place . can it be the fuel injection?

Answer
Hi Janne,
Have you tried to get fault codes from the computer? Turn the ignition key "on-off-on-off-on and leave on" doing that in 5 seconds or less. Then watch the power loss light which remains on to begin to flash, pause, flash, etc. Count the number of flashes before each pause. Then repeat for accuracy. Then group in pairs in the order of appearance to form two digit fault codes. Then go to www.allpar.com/fix/codes.html for a translator of the codes. See what you find.
Are the cylinders that aren't firing showing wet(gas)on the plugs, or oil clogged electrodes? Have you checked compression in all cylinders? Do you mean you replaced the head gasket, by "shifted"? What "cooler" exploded, the radiator?
Those are things to consider and let me know about. It could well be that two injectors are clogged if the plugs appear to be dry even though they aren't firing.
