im looking for athe tourqe on a 98 dodoge neon dohc motor the connectiong rod cap tourge i founD 20 ft pounds on sohc but n o dohc and do you know do i have to pull the motor to replace the bearing or can it be done in the car

Hi Matt,
According to the manual the torque is 20 foot-pounds plus 1/4 turn.
If the process doesn't involve removing the rod entirely it apparently can be done from underneath by removing the oil pan. That removal has some instructions related to it that would be important to have. I have a '97 manual that I can copy the pages from and postal mail to you if you will give me a postal mailing address.
