Chrysler Repair: 2001 Chrysler Sebring trans. prob, transmission control module, chrysler sebring

I have been having problems with my 2001 since basically day 1. The current issue is my transmission control module. Code PO605. I was told that I need to replace my transmission "computer". I had some shotty electrical work on my "engine control module" done by my local dealership and just want to narrow down the other possibilities to this problem before I go and fix the transmission control module.I am also not sure where to take my vehicle. I live in Lodi, CA....perhaps yopu might know someone trustworthy? or maybe you can give me some tips to look for when I take it to get fixed. I'm sick of getting the run around. Thanks for your time.

easy answer for u  U will also need a dealer to program the computer once u have it installed.


Symptom:
P0605-INTERNAL TCM
POSSIBLE CAUSES
TCM - INTERNAL ERROR
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 If there are no possible causes remaining, view repair. All
Repair
Replace the TCM. WITH THE DRBIIIt PERFORM QUICK
LEARN AND REPROGRAM PINION FACTOR.
Perform 41TE TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
