Chrysler Repair: Chrysler Voyager 1997, chrysler voyager, safety precaution

Question
QUESTION: I recently bought a chrysler voyager van, year 1997 engine 3.3
my ac clutch was damaged so I replaced the compressor
but after this some problems started:

(1) the engine goes off at traffic lights intermittently some days it's ok
(2) the car is not cooling as it used to
(3) the alternator  light came on for about half an hour and then disappeared next day the battery was weak

and please how to make sure the ac clutch doesn't blow again  because the replacement is very very expensive!

ANSWER: did u add oil to the compressor when u installed it? did u add the correct amount of freon to the system?
The alt light would need a scanner to see what the code is that was set.I live in Atlanta and I would look at it for u.

QUESTION: the technician put some more freon and the cooling is better but not 100% it's 70%
he says if he puts more gas there's a danger of blowing the clutch is this true?
ANSWER: no  the compressors have a pop off valve.   U said u replaced the compressor  so u really did not  U had the compressor replaced  so u have no idea what he did or did not do then.

QUESTION: but I'm in another country
what does this pop up valve look like<how to locate it and what to do with it
I strongly believe the technician replaced it, it is a cylinderical thing
thanks

Answer
are u looking for the pop off valve  it built onto the compressor  it does not need replacing  it is there as a safety precaution for when stupid people add to much freon into the system and it builds up over 400psi so the pressure has to go some where. Take it to some one else that knows what they are doing.
