Chrysler Repair: neutral safety switch: 81 5th Ave., wheel drive car, neutral safety switch

Could you please tell me where the neutral safety switch would be located on a 1981 chrysler 5th ave. thanks for any help

Hi Howard,
If the 5th Ave is a rear wheel drive car and you have the torqueflight automatic, then that switch is on the left side of the transmission just below the gear change lever. It has a 3-wire plug. Let me know if the vehicle is a front wheel drive and I'll take a look again in a different manual.
