Chrysler Repair: minivans, lisa bell, repair question

Hi Pete,

Not a repair question, but I'd appreciate your perspective...

I want to buy a minivan to use like a truck – to haul bags of fertilizer from Home Depot, and to bring firewood in from the weekend property.  I'm thinking “cheap” and therefore “older,” but I'm concerned about getting a stable drive train.

Of the various minivans out there, which do you think has the sturdiest engine and transmission?  I'd appreciate your opinion !

i would get the v6 and make sure it is the 3.3 motor this is a very good eng. and wont give you much troulble at all and as far as the tranny it would be the one with the over drive in that van with that eng. and it will be very good to carry a load .
