I just bought a 1961 ford econoline truck They told me the motor was just overhauled. Seems like everything does look new . But I have changed the thermastate. and water pump and new upper and lower hoses. It will start and run just fine for about 15 minutes and then it starts cutting out and dies and gas spews from the car, It is in time to . Can you tell me what could be the problem Thanks

Sounds very much like the carburetor needle and seat is defective or the float is porous and sinking causing the engine to flood and stall. The remedy is to overhaul the carburetor replacing the needle and seat as well as the float. Also making sure to adjust the float level according to the manuals recommendations.
