antique wire harness?
I like to know what kind of wire harness this is . Enclosed is a picture of it. It has cloth cover around the wire with round connectors for mounting on small bolts. It been in my shop for decades. Thank you for your time.

Answer
When I cleaned our my dads garage/shop after his death I found dozens of wires like this. I cannot identify the exact car that this went on but what I can tell you about this piece is that being cloth covered it dates back before the early sixties. It appears in the photo to be two different size wires. That might mean that it is a harness to connect a generator to a voltage regulator. Other than that I am stumped. It is no earlier than the mid 1930's as they for the most part used a 3 brush generator and did not use a regulator but a current cut out relay.
