Classic/Antique Car Repair: 63 mercury, battery cable, tumbler

i have a 63 meteor and cant seem to be able to remove the ignition. i was able to remove the tumbler but thats it.

Answer
The ignition switch is spring loaded. From under the dash push towards the rear of the car on the switch at the same time turning it 1/4 turn counter clockwise. That should disengage it from the bezel and it should come out. Remember to disconnect the battery cable before doing this.
