Answer
I'm not sure in reading your question if you are saying the parking lights are working in the front or not.  (The problem is I don't know what definition you are using for "marker lights").  As a recovering truck driver, I think of marker lights as parking lights.  But you may mean that only the front side marker lights don't work, and the parking lights are OK.

It would be very odd that neither the parking lights or the front turn signals work, since they use different wires, bulb filaments, switches and power sources.   The only thing I can think of that would explain this is poor contacts at the firewall bulkhead connector - but it would have to be bad at 3 different connections - which seems unlikely.

I rather suspect a wiring error.

The only way to track down your problem is to use the wiring diagram and check each of the wires involved, one by one (front left turn, front right turn, parking lights and side marker lights).

If you don't have a wiring diagram, check in your shop manual; there should be one in there.  If you don't have a shop manual, you can get one from one of the automobile literature dealers.  I use Ed Faxon at www.faxonautolit.com, but there are many others.
