Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1947 mercury flathead, ford parts, state c

I need to find a mechanic that is familiar with the flathead motors.  My Dad has the car and all the parts that he wants to change.  We just need a mechanic in California that can do the work. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated...Thank you, Robin

Call C & G Early Ford Parts, in Escondido -or go by there if you are close, and talk to the folks there. They have a mechanic that they share their building with that has a very good reputation.  They  will also know of mechanics in other parts of the state -(I don't know what part of California you are in - it's a big state!).  C&G's phone number is 760-740-2400
