Classic/Antique Car Repair: spark plug wire diagram, firing order?, plymouth sport fury, stock carb

Question
Hello,
Im wondering if you know of a place I could get a DVD or photo with an explanation as to the firing order of the spark plugs to dist cap on my 1966 plymouth sport fury V-8, 383H. no a/c, no air clean system just a straight up 383.
im having trouble following a maint book i have which has a wiring diagram drawing, but what i needed is one with a photo showing me the correct numbers for firing on the dist. and the plug wires firing order and where they go on the dist. It has a carter AFB 4 barrel stock carb. and origonal stock dist. I bought this car last year and am trying my best to get it road worthy again. im disabled and retired from it and divorced and its a labor of love to work on it with my 12 year old son who loves mopar as much as i do. i know that the way you read the firing order is left is the drivers side right is the passenger side.  but what im confused about it the order of plug is it from back to front? and the dist. cap looking at the drawing in my book doesnt show exactly how it is? if i am standing on the fender passenger side facing the engine from the side looking at the dist cap. how are the numbers on it ?
thanks ever so much, any help would be great? i can email you a photo of the engine to show you what i mean?

Answer
OK standing by the right front fender (passengers side) looking in the clips that hold the cap onto the distributor should be at 11 and 5 o'clock. Going around counter clockwise (opposite the direction of the hands of the clock) the wires are 8=4=3=6=5=7=2=1. One should be on the other side of the 5 o'clock clip from eight. Number one cylinder is the first one on the drivers side of the engine. Number one on any V type engine will always be the one that when looking across the engine that has the valve cover further forward. Good luck.
