Cadillac Repair: Air Conditioning ?s, vacuum line, plastic vacuum

Hi my name is Johnathan , i have a 1992 cad. sedan deville its runs great and all has about 125k mi. on it but my problem is with the a/c when i have the air on the air only comes out lower duct by gas pedal and on top of dash by windshield. i asked around and was told to check the vacuum connections i just dont know where they are located or what other problem it could be your help will be greatly appreciated

Answer
Look along the firewall and you will see a thin black plastic tube going from the engine compartment thru the firewall and into the underdash on the passengers side. Back track this thin black plastic vacuum tube back towards the engine until you find the disconnected vacuum line in that connects to this thin black plastic line. Look real close as the vacuum line may be mixed in with the wiring harnesses that go thru the firewall.
