AnswerI can not remember if an 81 has a printed dash circuit board or not. If it does the lights simply quarter twist in from the back and are wireless.
If it has the standard type they are still very simple IF you can get you hand in the back to change them one by one.
If you can not get far enough in there to do this from the back, you will have to pull the gauge cluster from the front and do it that way.
This is sometimes rather involved and you may want to consult a manual.
By the way, are you just replacing a bulb, or have all the lights gone out at once, which is a headlight switch problem?
