Classic/Antique Car Repair: 66 ford galaxy 500, ford galaxy 500, iola wisconsin

Hi,
I know this ? isn't what you are used to. I live in Oklahoma and I have a 66 ford galaxy 500 four door. good shape running just needs a battery so it would not have to jump started. And I was just wondering if you  might know how much it would be worth. Thank you for your time.

There is no way any honest person can answer that question without doing a careful inspection of the car.  The car could be worth anywhere from $500 to $5000, depending on how original it is, how much mileage is on it, and if there is any  rust anywhere.  

If you want to learn how to value old cars, pick up a copy of the latest issue of "The Old Cars Weekly Value Guide", which a major library will have, or you can order it from Krause Publications of Iola Wisconsin.  Read it carefully, particularly the section on "condition codes".  After you do that, inspect your car yourself, paying attention to every single defect - from that you can come up with a condition code.  Most cars will fall into condition #4, if they are in
"Daily Driver", and a 66 Galaxie 4 Door would be worth about $1800.  If yours needs anything to get it into decent daily driver condition, subtract the cost of that from the $1800.
