Classic/Antique Car Repair: 1965 mustang convertable rear glass, mustang convertable, piece glass

Question
i just bought a 65 must conv. with a two piece glass rear window and there is a approx. 3/16 gap between the both glass and the water comes in. Do you now what i can do to fix this or buy a strip or anything other than replacing the glass as it is like new ? Thanks Terry.

Hi you should have no trouble with it just get a tube of clear silicone , they might even sell a glass kit, but prior to putting it on clean the glass real good with a solvent or rubbing alch. it should fill it in and seal it up real good.  ok
