yea it has the pistons and every thing inside.im talking about what i would have to buy 4 the outside of the motor like i need to get valve covers and thats is all i now besides me haven to get the valve covers.but anyways i bought this motor from my uncle for 200 dollars,and im going to drop it in a 1988 firebird.this is my dream to rebuild the motor and to fix up the car.that is why i asked you for help.

HI well if you just need parts for the outside of it, you can go to (j c whitney.com) they sell a lot of stuff cheep.they have a chrome kit for 99.00 not bad at all.
if you wish to re-build the engine than you will need rings,bearings,cam,pistons,crank,head work, etc.intake,carb. dist. $$$$$$$ it will cost a bunch..
I do not understand what you wish to do to the engine, to dress it up or to take it apart ? if it is out of the car I would do some checking on its condition ..
