How do you replace the wiper motor on a 2001 Dodge Dakota?

REMOVAL
Remove both wiper arms from the wiper pivots. (Refer to 8 - ELECTRICAL/WIPERS/WASHERS/WIPER ARM - REMOVAL).
Unlatch and open the hood.
Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
Remove the cowl plenum cover/grille panel from the cowl plenum. (Refer to 23 - BODY/EXTERIOR/COWL GRILLE - REMOVAL).
Remove the four screws that secure the wiper module bracket to the cowl plenum panel and the dash panel (Wiper Module Remove/Install).
Reach into the cowl plenum to move the wiper module far enough to access the wiper module electrical connections.
Disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness connector for the wiper motor from the wiper motor pigtail wire connector.
Disconnect the headlamp and dash wire harness ground connector from the wiper motor ground terminal.
Remove the wiper module from the cowl plenum panel as a unit.
