Dodge Repair: help, fuse blows, solanoid

Question
i have a 97 b250 ram conversion.  There is a smell like a burnt wire i checked all the fusable link wires i could find.  It won't start changed the fuse started right up as soon as you smell the wire the fuse blows but you can still drive but if you shutt it of you have to replace the fuse thanks

Answer
You need to check the Starter solanoid and the wires going to it.  There is undoubtably a place in the wire that has been compramised.  Either the insulation has been burned off or there has been a skined place in the wire.  When it touches it shorts the wire out and blows the fuse.  Check this .  If it doesn't fix the problem then wright me back.

Thanks
