Dodge Repair: 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan intermittent alarm/door ajar, dodge grand caravan, grand caravan

Question
I have a 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan, 104K miles on it.  A few weeks back the alarm went off three times by itself.  It is a factory alarm.  I took the horn fuse out to shut it up.  When I drove it the next day the door ajar warning light would flash on and off, as well as the "ding" sound and the dome lights, as if the doors were opening and closing.  Took it to the dealer, they replaced the BCM for $450.  2 weeks later and it does it again.  Took it back to the dealer, they didn't find anything wrong with it.  Again two nights ago it happens.  Anything BESIDES the BCM that could be causing this?  The dealer is not being super helpful since they can't "reproduce the problem" when it's being serviced.

Answer
There are several other things that can cause this problem.  However if you have paid the dealer to repair it, you should let them repair it.  If someone else tries to fix it this VOIDS the warranty from the dealer.  If you can't get any satisfaction from the dealer then go to that dealer's area representative.  the dealer is required by law to give you the contact information to contact that person.  I think if you ask for the area reps contact info the dealer will make an extra special effort to repair your vehicle.
